Thank you for your interest in test-knitting the Wening Ribbed Top! This is a top-down top with saddle shoulder construction. We’re looking for knitters who are excited to help fine-tune the pattern, provide thoughtful feedback, and share their beautiful progress with the community.

GAUGE
Approximately 33 stitches x 43 rows = 4 x 4″ (10 x 10 cm) using US-2 / 2.75 mm needles in 2 x 2 Ribbing. Blocked lightly. Relaxed.
Test Knit Timeline
Below is the timeline for the test knit process:
February 15 – Applications open
February 17 – Selected testers announced via email
February 18 – Pattern draft sent to testers
February 19 – April 4 – Test knit period
April 5 – Final photo submission deadline
April 10 – Official pattern release

Test Knit Policy
- This pattern is in draft form. Test knitters are expected to read the instructions carefully and report any errors, unclear directions, or inconsistencies.
- The draft pattern is strictly confidential. Testers may not share, copy, distribute, publish, or sell any part of the pattern in any form—digital, printed, or otherwise.
- This is not a secret test knit. You are encouraged to share your progress on social media, but please DO NOT show the whole piece.
- We will set up a group chat via Instagram DM for communication and small updates. By applying, you agree to join the group and read any information shared there. Major updates will also be sent via email.
- If you are unable to complete the test knit by the deadline, please inform us as soon as possible.
