This is the pattern only, not the finished garment.

This unisex sweater is a versatile everyday staple for when you need a simple outer layer for your outfit. It uses a raglan shoulder construction. There are options for you to choose from (almost) for each part of the sweater. Beginners are very welcome to knit this sweater!

Finished bust circumference approximately 37 (39, 41, 43) (45, 47, 49) (51, 53, 55)” / 94 (99, 104, 109) (114, 119, 124) (130, 135, 140) cm.
Both body and sleeve lengths are easily adjustable.

 

MATERIALS

YARN

Papiput Yarn Juniper DK
80% superwash merino, 20% lotus fiber. 225 meters per 100 grams. DK weight.
4 (4, 5, 5) (6, 6, 7) (7, 8, 8) skeins.
Having an additional skein at hand is suggested.
The sample is made in size 3 and uses 5 skeins in the Frosty Mint colorway as the Main Color and approximately 3.5 oz / 10 grams in the Poppies Lane colorway as the Contrasting Color.
You can use any leftover DK-weight yarn for the contrasting color, or use just one color for the whole sweater.

Yarn substitute: Papiput Tough DK.

NEEDLES

One pair of US-3 / 3.25 mm circular needles 16” / 40 cm and 24” / 60 cm or longer, or a set of DPN.
One pair of US-6 / 4.0 mm circular needles in 24” / 60 cm or longer.

NOTIONS

3 stitch markers and 1 stitch marker in a different shape or color.
Waste yarn or yarn holder.
1 tapestry needle.
10 locking stitch markers (optional).

GAUGE

Approximately 22 stitches x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” (stockinette) in US-6 / 4.0 mm needles. Blocked. Relaxed.
Create a gauge swatch before starting the project to ensure the best-fitting measurements. If necessary, change the size of your needles to obtain the correct gauge.
