This cardigan is designed to be your go-to piece for everyday wear, providing a simple outer layer for your outfits. It uses the European Shoulder construction, which is seamless without short rows. You can modify the length of each part of the cardigan (sleeves and body), and if you want to attach buttons or make it an open-front cardigan.

Finished bust circumference around 37¾ (39¾, 41¾, 43¾) (45¾, 47¾, 49¾)” / 95.5 (100.5, 106.5, 111.5) (116.5, 121.5, 126.5) cm.
There is around 5.75” / 14.5 cm of positive ease from the finished bust circumference, creating a relaxed and comfortable fit. The body and sleeve lengths can be easily adjusted.

MATERIALS
YARN
Papiput Yarn Ethera
50% superwash merino, 50% lotus fiber. 400 meters per 100 grams.
Fingering weight.
Long Sleeves Cardigan: 3 (3, 4, 4) (5, 5, 5) skeins.
Having an additional skein at hand is suggested.
Sample used Ethera in Bara colorway.
NEEDLES
One pair of US-2 / 2.75 mm circular needles 24” / 60 cm or 32” / 80 cm long.
One pair of US-4 / 3.5 mm circular needles 24” / 60 cm or longer.
Optional: One piece of US-2 / 2.75 mm Double Pointed Needles to knit the button band.
NOTIONS
1 cable needle.
12 stitch markers (optional).
Waste yarn or yarn holder.
1 tapestry needle.
5 buttons (optional).
GAUGE
26 stitches x 33 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” (stockinette) in US-4 / 3.5 mm needles. Blocked. Relaxed.
Create a gauge swatch before starting the project to ensure the best-fitting measurements. If necessary, change the size of your needles to obtain the correct gauge.
